Navigate Network is operated by Add Data Pty Ltd (ABN 82 652 866 263) (“we”, “us” or “Navigate Network”). We handle personal information in accordance with Australian privacy law and, where applicable, other data-protection laws such as the GDPR.

01 · Section

Scope of this policy.

This policy applies to personal information we collect through our website and in the course of providing our services where we determine how that information is handled.

Where we process personal data on behalf of a business customer as part of the Services, we act as a processor (or service provider) only. That processing is governed by the customer’s agreement with us and our Data Processing Addendum, not by this policy.

02 · Section

Information we collect.

Information you provide

  • Identity and contact details — name, business email, phone, job title;
  • Account and billing information, including payment details;
  • Onboarding and KYC information — entity details, beneficial ownership, and identity documents;
  • Any information in your communications with us.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and log data, including pages viewed and actions taken;
  • Device and browser information and IP address;
  • Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

Information from third parties

  • Identity, sanctions and credit-screening providers used for onboarding;
  • Our business partners and referral sources.
03 · Section

How we use your information.

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, manage and support the Services and your account;
  • Process billing and payments;
  • Verify identity and meet our compliance obligations (KYC, anti-money-laundering, sanctions and export-control screening);
  • Maintain the security and integrity of our platform and prevent fraud or misuse;
  • Improve our website and Services;
  • Communicate with you and, where you have consented or as otherwise permitted, send marketing;
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
04 · Section

Legal bases (where the GDPR applies).

For individuals in the EU/UK, we rely on one or more of the following bases: performance of a contract; our legitimate interests (such as securing and improving our Services); your consent (for example, for certain marketing or cookies); and compliance with a legal obligation.

05 · Section

Cookies and analytics.

We use essential cookies to operate the site and may use analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and where required we will ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies.

06 · Section

Disclosure of your information.

We may disclose personal information to:

  • Service providers and sub-processors who help us operate (for example, hosting, payment processing, and screening providers);
  • Our professional advisers (legal, accounting, insurance);
  • Regulators, law-enforcement or other authorities where required or permitted by law;
  • A purchaser or successor in connection with a corporate transaction.

We do not sell your personal information.

07 · Section

Cross-border disclosure.

We and our service providers may store and process information in countries outside Australia, including the United States and other regions. Where we disclose personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, and, where the GDPR applies, we use an appropriate transfer mechanism such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

08 · Section

Data security.

We maintain technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls, encryption in transit, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09 · Section

Data retention.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. For example, onboarding and KYC records may be retained for the period required under applicable anti-money-laundering and record-keeping rules.

10 · Section

Your rights.

You may request access to, and correction of, the personal information we hold about you. Where the GDPR applies, you may also have rights to erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; we may need to verify your identity first.

11 · Section

Direct marketing.

Where we send you marketing communications, you can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us. We will continue to send you service-related communications necessary to provide the Services.

12 · Section

Children’s privacy.

Our website and Services are directed to businesses and are not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

13 · Section

Third-party links.

Our website may link to third-party sites that we do not control. This policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices.

14 · Section

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the current version here with its effective date, and material changes will take effect on a reasonable notice period.

15 · Section

Contact us & complaints.

To make a privacy request or complaint, contact us at privacy@navigate.network, or by mail at our registered address (available on request).

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au, or, if you are in the EU/UK, to your local data-protection supervisory authority.
